The purpose of the Koinonia weekend…
Koinonia provides an occasion to learn about God's grace.
It is a place where the wonder of being a Christian community can be experienced.
The ultimate goal is the empowerment of Christians to go into the world,
equipped to witness the wonder of Christ's love.
There will be singing, fellowship, discussions, worship,
great food, laughter, and the opportunity to learn about Christian living.
A short course in Christian living…
The Koinonia weekend is structured around a series of talks
by laypeople and clergy. The talks cover subjects such as God's grace, study
of his word, Christian action, and ideals. After each talk, there is a time
for discussion within a small group. The talks provide thought for discussion
and guidelines for life beyond the weekend.
